Freedom of speech is sometimes difficult to bear. It means that even morons can speak their mind. At very high decibels.

However ... I find this exhibit truly strident and offensive. Particularly the "artwork" that was apparently submitted by the Iranian government. Or the Hezbollah stuff. The organizers seem to have gone so far left that they cannot distinguish America's enemies from THEIR OWN enemies.

But then again, offending people white, suburban, middle-class conservative guys like me is probably part of the point.

Meh, personally I see it as what it appears to be, an exhibit of propaganda, not a big orgy of anti-Americanism that many may see it as.

I've always found propaganda posters art very interesting, regardless of the source. I fondly remember a european history teacher I had in high school who used to be a journalist in the middle east... he had all sorts of authentic posters and flags from various terrorist factions posted around the room, and he was hardly a terrorist sympathizer.

Apparently the exhibit is coming to LA, I might check it out.
