I have been told US built SLK230 cars have diferent parts to German built. namely heater blower and regulator, Is this true?

Perhaps it is true. I know the controls are different. I also know that the U.S ones are built by a company called "Denso", in BattleCreek Michigan. I know the company does not export them to Germany. They also make them for just about every other vehicle name brand in the country. I used to go to their facility twice a week, until June 23rd of this year when mu contract ended. I picked up there, and delivered parts to BMW, in Greer, S.C. and to Mercedes Manufacturing plant, in Alabama..

I'm sure the German version, must be different from the American version..
