I have a new cat after a three year hiatus.

She's the most terrific animal that I've ever had the pleasure of owning. None of the typical aloof BS that are common with cats. She's in the same room as I am 90% of the time.........appreciates affection and offers same. Likes to play with toys, my hands, etc. and doesn't mind a bit of roughhousing. Never gets mean or nasty and provides a clear advance warning of her limits with a slight growl.

I'm really loving this animal.

The story is bizarre. If I was in that nursing home I would have a rottweiler tied to the end of the bed
