Go to sea. Get your ticket, work outside (ie not in a cube) make the same money in 6 months.

Our purchasers are great folks but I would not want their job for a minute...corporate is always *****ing about costs and delivery, suppliers are always *****ing about costs and delivery and the customers (Intel, AMD etc, etc) are always *****ing about costs and delivery.

Not worth it.

I'd love to see GottaDiesel and Howie shaking hands and having a nice conversation together while drinking coffee and eating apple pie.

So would I, Paul.

(Can it be Pecan Pie instead -- there I go, already making it difficult. )

You can have the banana cream pie if it looks good.

FWIW, I have probably met more forum members while traveling across the country than anybody else.

It is strange how different people are in real life than they are online.

We do need a caterer: I can't cook for chit and Howie is always trying to broil a chicken with that bloody military surplus flame thrower of his.

The good news is that the beer keg tap and refrigeration system is scheduled to be installed next week, along with the plasma screen TV system.

Wine cellar? Wine? What? This is not some drink-your-tea-with-your-pinkie-extended type of place. In the living room we have our quads and a Ford F-250 pickup. The only smoking jackets worn around here are a result of Howie being a little liberal with that damn flamethrower.
