Look at Deer Camera's (hunting). I viewed one that will use a cell phone or if available WiFi and send you motion detecting photos.

I slapped together a pretty nice home security system (with motion detectors) from this website. At first I thought the website looked slightly hokey....but they have good prices and were great to work with, not a bad forum either.

homesecuritystore.com

Mine isn't hooked up to email me anything....but I know it can. It's pretty cool too because you can control most of that stuff with x10.

I bought some stuff from them a couple of weeks ago. Very good service before the sale. I asked many questions and they answered them all. They had everything in stock and shipped same day. And free shipping if over 100.00. As far as cameras I also saw a system on Ebay that had a card for a PCI slot in a PC. You got 4 cameras, cables and the card and software for 189/209 BIN. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170150222138&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=007 They had good feedback. It could sense motion.

I found this and it seems to do the trick!!1

I guess some of the better software will track a target on the webcam if it is motorized.

It works great I'm using it in my barn to find out what (whom) is looking in the windows at night. I was going to use a game camera but this is wayyyyy more fun. I have an old POS cell phone set up on auto answer so when it goes off I am going to call and have a chat.

Something like if you move I will shoot.

I was at a hotel and the cleaning lady was stealing my money. I need free software I could use to catch her. All I had was a cheap web cam that I gutted and hide it in a box. The software is called Dorgem. I got her in the act. I am not sure if you can have it emailed, but I know you can upload it to the web via FTP. Her is a clip of her in action.

That looks pretty good. What are you using for a camera? Could it support multiple cameras?

I am not going to elaborate but all I can say is the software works like a charm and it only took one night to get the desired result.

To bad you can't mount an MP5 on the camra. You can take care of the problem remotely as well.

Be one with the MP5.

Why are they so freaken expensive? You could buy a new Camry for what one costs.
