Hey kmaysob!

Congrats!

Remember to be on the offense - watching for EVERYTHING and ANYTHING so you don't have to say, "Thank GOD I had my helmet on!"

Congratulations...I think everyone who decides to get on a motorized two-wheeler should take this training prior to riding!

One of the key points discussed is that motorists were never trained in driver's ed to be on the lookout for motorcycles, and treat then similarly to bicyclists...especially in judging approach speed!

Never could understand folks who refuse to wear a helmet when riding! It's great that you are skilled enough to never lay down your bike, but I get into too many close calls daily with idiots while in a much larger 4-wheeled vehicle...can't imagine taking that chance with less protective metal around me!

Congratulations! You'll love getting out and riding. I am so glad I took that course. I want to take the advanced course. Maybe someday?

Glad to hear you passed the course. A motorcycle safety course is a requirement here in PA and I am all for it. The helmet requirment was lifted in PA, however, I would never ride without one. For the most part, the only people I see without a helmet in PA are those who ride bikes (HD and similar) where it is not considered "fashionable" and kids on sports bikes who throw caution to the wind. Its a personal choice but I put self preservation over vanity or "Freedom to ride".
