Chrysler 300C

When I rented a car from National last Saturday they surprised me with a Chrysler 300C. So far I've driven it from Spokane WA to Coeur d"Alene, ID, then to Cascade Locks, OR and on to Astoria, OR. I have to give it up this Saturday at the Portland airport; I will miss this car. Great chassis, suspension, steering, comfortable, quiet, and oh yeah the 340 hp, 390lb-ft Hemi; cripes what a sweet engine. I'm talking myself out of my much liked '94 E320.
regards,
Mark

Hey its a Mercedes W124/W210 chassis under the skin of that thing, of course you liked it!
Now if you buy one they give you a limited lifetime warranty on the tranny. Not a bad deal.

The front end is all W210, actually. The transmission is a 722.6, or at least the 5 speed box that is optional on the 3.5 and standard on the Hemi.

I just can't get past the looks of the thing. It looks like Homer Simpson designed it for Pat Robertson.

Its a W210, it uses the 722.6, W210 suspension, and seat frames. They are nice cars, but I really don't like the seats. I think they feel to high.

They got some balls, that's for sure. If I didn't need something to haul my family around in, I'd definitely be interested in one. Chrysler has their fair share of critics, often rightly so, but the 300C is one of the ones they got right with a little help from their friends.
