Computer question - hot keys
I am having a little issue with my new laptop. My finger seems to think the left hand CTRL button is where the Shift should be, so every once in a while as I am typing along (after having typed something long of course) I hit CTL-A or CTL-Z or CTL-W by accident (trying to type a capital letter) and my entire e-mail or whatever is obliterated. Can I either:
1) Disable the left hand CTL button (or turn it into another shift button)? I am talking a software change here not "yeah, pry off the button and get your soldering iron..." 2) Disable these 3 hotkey functions? I am guessing one or both of these are "easy" for those "skilled in the art" Thanks, Mike

there may be a keyboard map you can download from the manufacturer of your laptop. go online and see if you can download a new map for your bios and just edit out the ctrl key...
