I've used a lot of powdered milk on canoe trips. The standard stuff is pretty bad but for a while one of our local grocery stores was selling a different version (fat as opposed to nonfat I believe) that tasted as good as real milk. A very pleasant surprise the first time I used it.

Dry Whole Milk, it does not have the shelf life of Non-Fat but is pretty tasty.

rice pudding, but i like it now as an adult.
