My response would be inappropriate.

I have no doubt that it would be . . . Taht's what we love about you, Mistress. You're just so wonderfully inappropriate and politically incorrect.

Earl is from near Lafayette. He is in his nineties now. About ten years ago he popped into my storefront office seeking directions to a local place. I introduced myself. He seemed nice enough. But you know, too bad he said that.

A year or so ago his family donated a mill or so to Purdue and wanted a building named after old Earl. So it was announced and with all the uproar it raised, Purdue decided they didn't need to name a building after Earl after all.

I don't know if they had to give the money back in the end or not.

Actually what he said pales in comparison to the dyslexic mumblings of Resident Bush.

I'd buy the Vick chew toy for my pit bull but I dunno, the whole made in China lead paint contretemps, only comes steroid-flavored.

I'm shocked what with NAFTA and all they're not popping out KFC licensed fried chicken flavored chewies made down Mexico way,THAT I'd buy......
