I like this guy because he doesn't use a stage, smoke or mirrors. I've seen him in person on before. I don't know how he does this stuff but it's really very amazing..

It kinda shocked me at first...
Doesn't the woman look a little bit ill proportioned? And who dresses like that anyway?

es, and there is also an extremely pronounced "Clunk" when he taps her torso. The lower half of the body, could possibly be some sort of remote controlled unit, of Hollywood quality perhaps. It all seems very real however, even up close and in person..

I've watched it a few times, and I'm damned if I can figure it out. When he led the lady over to the bench, her walking seemed normal enough. They don't have robotics anywhere yet that can fake human walking that well. Plus, she sat down on the bench in a very normal fashion. The toes wiggling on the remaining legs looked pretty real also.
Having a full human hidden under that dress doesn't make a lot of sense either. The feet and lower legs look adult size. Beats the hell outta me.

If you remember EVERYBODY there is in on it, its easy. Check out how the "spectators" react just a hair before he finishes telling them what to do. One lady has her hand stretched out to meet him before he even gets to her. Its all scripted. Its someone who can fold their legs up (or has no legs), the big scam is you cannot tell if the lady who sat down is the same one they pull apart.
Now honestly, if you were one of the two pullers, wouldn't you have to be in on it? If it was me and I wasn't in on it, I would go over and check out the legs to see what kind of hokey thing it was.

Good points. I don't why I care about the damn thing, obviously a woman was not pulled in two. The lady with the missing lower torso does look a bit different than the one who walked over to the bench, now that you mention it.
And you're right, no one was going up to the legs to see kind of face went with those legs.

Very useful trick. Especially if the upper half crawls a good distance.

The comments below the video suggest the top half is the woman interviewed on one of the newsmagazing shows who was born without legs. The bottom is a midget.
I agree with Kuan on the disproportion. When the woman is laying on the bench and the camera moves from her feet towards her torso the shape of the upper legs is odd. This would account for why he holds the woman's head as the lays down on the bench. The midget is already laying down and he has to lay down the legless woman.
