"I Went To School With ________ And Didn't Even Know it."

Just for fun, I went digging around in my old year books to see "who's who" and I found some interesting people.

Who were you in school with before or during the time they were famous? Post up their year book picture and post yours as well from the same time...

Future wife of the governor of Ohio...

Burger girl...

A goofy 16 year old me...

I know someone who went to high school with a guy who later went on to be on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This guy also had some University classes with Gen. Tommy Franks.

He didn't seem too impressed with either one at the time, but that's the way High School is. People don't really come into their own until a few years later.

I went to High School with a guy who was eat up with fishing. He would fish every chance he got and eventually became a well known bass fisher who won contests all over Texas. Later he was found to be cheating by hauling in giant bass from Florida and planting them in the lake a day or two before the contests.

Another lady I went to High School with became a well known Madam in the Las Vegas area. She probably made more money than all the rest of us put together.

I went to hs with a couple athletes who are now pro -- one in the nfl paying for the lions, another had his first mlb game as a pitcher a couple months ago as a lefty for the cardinals.

Other than that, not too sure. As I've mentioned before I was friends with the daughter of Wayne from chasing classic cars but we've lost touch. I think that's pretty much it, were all still youngish so hopefully some of us will end up as masters of our various industries.

Nobody from my class +/- a few years.

We've got a pretty unremarkable school.

Wendy Thomas' sister was my dad's camp counselor, and the whole family lived down the street from my dad, they went to the same church.

You from Columbus?

In my two years of HS in D.C, I attended the same school as did William Bennett. IIRC, he was 2 years ahead of me & played guard on our 1959 city championship football team. Another member of that team later became the first African-American to play in the Atlantic Coast Conference for Maryland.
I do not personally know either of these men.

I went to HS in NYC with these two men, whom I had the pleasure of seeing again at our 50th reunion last year. One has had a successful career in Dentistry; the other in the US Army (Psyops). UNC School of Dentistry

Grew up in UA. I wonder how Wendy ended up at UA. I always figured they lived in Dublin since the corporate headquarters was up on Bethel Rd or 161 as I remember.

Went to HS with Joseph Hazelwood, but didn't know him, as he was a year ahead of me. He did come into my rental store many years later and I knew who he was the instant he walked through the door.
