Woody Allen responds.

In one of his films, Woody Allen plays a New Yorker who moves out to Los Angeles where he becomes a successful movie producer.

A New York friend comes out to Hollywood to visit Woody and comments on how clean the streets are in Los Angeles.

Friend: "Ohhh, the streets are sooooo clean in Los Angeles!! In New York City, the garbage is piled three stories high sometimes. What do you do with all your garbage?"

Woody: We put it on TV.
