Interesting law

You know in Minnesota the water in swimming pools needs to be changed every ten years?

That is to keep kidney shaped pools from eventually turning yellow.

Couldn't a person argue it has naturally been changed based on evaporation rates and repeatedly topping it up?
You can't jump into the same swimming pool twice.

Just like in an aquarium, when the water evaporates it leaves minerals and other impurities behind. When you add more water, the concentration of the impurities gradually increases.

Is nobody surprised that it's once every TEN years?

Kerry Heraclitus explained it... in his original words:

No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it is not the same river and he is not the same man.

Minnesota is a nanny state. Some superior smelling Ahole decided that people are too stupid to change the water in their pools. Duh! this year I changed mine from volvic to evian.

And, like when a kid craps in the pool, all they do is shock it with chlorine and chemicals. They leave it for a few hours and then let everyone back in when the chemical levels drop to acceptable again.

Every 10 years... wow.
