I might actually have my foot in the door for a civil engineering firm... not exactly mechanical but it is a start..

details
I visited my drafting teacher today to drop some stuff off. He mentioned that Central FL Engineers need a Go-For guy... and it will get my foot in the door for drafting and stuff.

only thing is they need the person monday to friday; whereas I work M,W,F 3-12am ... but maybe they can start me off on tuesdays and thursdays and if I like it I can move Publix to just the weekends. Just so I can keep my benefits (stock purchasing, retail bonus)


I am just waiting on the call for the interview.. I'm excited... this might get me closer to a new car.. lol

Sounds like a good oppertunity. I'd dump the other job in a heart beat for it. Future career is more important than stocking shelves. Proivded they pay something of course, you have to live on something.
