My son has a 1991 190E, he hit something and broke the plastic piece off of his bumper. Everyone he talks to has different answers. Some say he needs and impact strip, and some say he needs the Bumper cover, there is a big difference in price. The bumper is o.k. and we have the foam piece that goes over the bumper. Does anyone know what I need? And where I can find it.

If you have a pick n pull, i would try that first. Or a similar salvage yard,

Not sure about your car but the black "impact strip" on mine is painted on the bumper cover. It's all one piece.
