Anyone know anything about Gulfstars?
As I sit here on a Saturday night working on homework, just done actualy. I can't help but think of my plan to eventualy depart from all this BS and sail away. One day I will stand on the aft deck of a boat, watching the coast shrink shouting a very nice **** you to it.
However I need a boat capable of going around the world. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63731&viewitem=&item=110175975205&_trksid=p3907.m29 Probably built like a tank, but kind of small and slow. http://www.swanyachts.co.uk/used_boats_for_sale.htm That will do it, a Swan is fast enough and built like a tank. Even better: http://www.hallberg-rassy.se/HR54/hr54.shtml A strong sloop built for one purpose, ocean travel. I like HR's they make no bones about what they are for. They are ment to sail anywhere in the world, a powerfull boat. Not for entertaining, not for day sailing. Swans are faster and built just as well. I see their is a Gulfstar 37 on Ebay, looks pretty nice, yet I know nothing about them. I'm hoping to be able to leave about when I turn 30. F you world I'll sail till I die! Life is much better on and around the water. The people are better, the environment is better, the beer is better. I just need to get some real estate that generates some income, working on that as I type.
