The concierge stuff is cool... My dads got an AMEX card, and thats got some cool concierge stuff.... Apparently we get personal shoppers at a few stores...

Yeah, that's right. I've seen the Vertu phone in watch magazines. I always wondered who in their right mind would buy one of those.

Like I said to one of my professors who was talking about how wonderfull some $100 pen was. Even if I made over $1,000,000 a year I wouldn't buy one.
More money than brains comes to mind. I can see spending $6k on a nice watch, or a suit, I'd do that; but not a cell phone. I can keep a $6k watch until I die, a $6k phone is a throw away in 18-24 months.

I think that was what my first phone cost back in 1986. Company paid for it
 Of course it had 4 watts and came in its own bag with a whip antenna sticking out... The only reason to buy a $6400 phone is so that when you are chatting up Paris Hilton and it rings she can say "cool phone, it is better than mine"
