Where to find production numbers and a VIN decoder?
I've got an '85 280CE and I'm trying to find out how many were made and what options there were. Anyone have a record or a location to find this out?
My Impala SS has a SPID label on the rear decklid that shows all the options on the car...and some of my older american cars had build sheets in the front seat springs. Did Mercedes do anything like this? I'm curious what my interior (brick red) & exterior (dark grey) colors are called and other things. I've looked some with no luck.

That's what I thought, but it's singular, not plural...and I hardly consider 4" speakers a loudspeaker...then again I do have a dual bandpass with 2 10's I picked up locally for $100 that's begging to get hooked up...he he he
