I didn't realize they had franchised it out. The one in Minneapolis was supposed to be a spectacular "destination restaurant". I remember seeing Anthony Bourdain go through there a few years back on "A Cook's Tour" and it looked interesting. As you said, I'm sure we can come up with another place. But not just drinking, let's get some good food too.

Aquavit here served tiny bites of sardines wrapped around pickled herring mousse, monkfish liver, lox and ceviche "martinis," etc. Closed around 2001.

I went there with my brother years ago and vaguely recall the great Martini's and afterwork babes.

Mr. Doe has most excellent taste in restuarants; non-commercial, locally owned that are often only well known to the locals -- so no chesse bag tourists (like me in NOLA. )

As for Ted, if you don't think he can take it and are willing to personally meet him to find out, put me down for a plane ticket to Minneapolis.
Amen, bruh John, Amen!

That might take Ted a minute. Two, tops. Then he'll drink until 10 AM and have monkey-sex with 2-3 insane-beast women while I'm trying to find my other shoe.
