I am going to start investing more in my 401(k) plan, and I have a very good stock purchase plan with my company, that I need to start getting involved in. If I follow through on these things, and get into a management position, I can retire when I am in my 60s, no problem...

Once you get used to putting money into a 401K or an IRA on a regular basis, you don't even miss it anymore. We all live on whatever we have, be it a lot or a little. I've been saving money regularly since i was a kid. Some of those times I could barely afford to buy food. I didn't save a lot then, but I still saved some.

I like the old adage, "It's not timing the market that will make you rich, it's time IN the market." That is the absolute truth!
