I like how Kerry stepped in to save this guy. Seeing as all he did was ask a question or two. Makes you wonder what kind of administration he would have been running.

According to what is being reported it seems that one, he exceeded his alloted time, Kerry asked to answer the question, the police seemed to ave their own protocol when dealing with people who are being unruly, Kerry claimed not to have known about the taser incident till afterward.

Seems to me that he was looking to make a splash an was expecting the out come. Just a wag on my part but wen you get 4 cops around you and they are looking to get you out and you resist them, the result is pretty much a forgone conclusion at that point. Not sure what else he is expecting.

A for Kerry, he seemed to want to answer the question but there was little he could do sine the cops were already involved.

Not sure what GW incident you are referring to but the secret service would have done the same thing IMO if it even got that far.

I don't know anything about this video. It's a first impression. I think it's staged. To me, the guy looks like he's genuinly trying to create a scene. The points are so unrelated.

I think he got what he deserved....and probably what he was looking for. The clip's been edited. Looks staged to me.

What did RR say when a disrupter was escorted out of a forum he was speaking at before becoming president?
"I paid for this mike" or words to that effect.

But listening to Kerry drone on in the background while the guy is screaming like a wuss in the back is sort of surreal. Reminds me of a scene in "Nashville", although I can't exactly recall the particulars.

And why no public comment permitted on utube?

BTW, the "back story" on the guy that got tasered is that he's no stranger to attention seeking. Perhaps his reputation and penchant for the white hot spotlight caught up with him.

Lots of that going around among all high profile politicians. One freaking nut can ruin the engagement for everybody else who would rather hear the politician than a freakazoid.

On the other hand the LE seemed kind of excessive. The dude was obnoxious but not violent. Does one's opinion shift depending on which politician is being abused?

Everybody loses when people step from polite to obnoxious in the public arena. That guy did, shifting the focus from the candidate to himself. Who cares about him?

I don't know. I'll get back to you when I have a definitive answer.

The kid is a dumbass. If a cop tells you to quiet down and be nice - you do it. If you don't agree with the order, get his/her badge number and complain about it later. Plenty of people think campus police are nothing but rent-a-cops, until they get busted for something and spend time in a real jail.

Funny thing.... The much reviled Fox News had this yesterday.

The rest of the networks didn't have it until the wee hours of this morning.

Not that they would want to downplay or supress a story not so favorable to one of their heros or anything like that. Heven forbid!! They are objective and non-biased, don't cha know?
