Don't pee on the electric fence...

Now that looks painful!

When we were kids, they always told us that was a good way to "blow up a kidney."

We never wanted to find out if that was a wives tale or not.
(Someone call Myth Busters)

Back in the 70’s (when they had long metal antenna) I watched a guy lean his two-way radio on one. That’s not a good idea either.

Mythbusters actually did do a segment on the electric fence on one of their re-visted myth episodes along with peeing on the third rail.

Adam was the lucky subject. If he peed hard enough on the fence (to keep a continuous stream) there was a noticible jolt. Not enought to debilitize him or anything, but shocking nonetheless.

I was never dumb enough as a kid to try it, neither were my friends. But we joked about it all the time.

Never seemed like a good idea...

Ouch !!
Just the thought makes everything pucker.

My mom made one of those years ago with a board, two nails and an old lamp cord. Took a few times to find a plug that wouldn't pop the breaker. But after that, it worked pretty good. Took about 10 seconds as I recall.

Oh - The life, in Army Housing.... those were the days.

Edit:
Funny how even Presto did their share to keep things messed up in the hot dog world.
Hot dogs come 10 to a pack. Buns come 8 to a pack. And that thing cooks 6 at a time.
