Just Bought a Wii!

Found one last night after searching for a few months (I wasn't about to drop $350 on something with a MSRP of $250). Played till about 2a this morning with my GF. Lets just say my arms are just a bit sore...

Nice, I remember the day I got mine - played it for so long, my shoulder was killing me from doing the bowling power shots and baseball.

Yep. My GF pounded me over and over again in the bowling. I'm getting the Super Mario Strikers after work tonight. I love cartoon sports games...

Did you find it at a brick-and-mortar or did you buy it online? I've been thinking of getting my kids one for Christmas so I should probably do that now rather than later. The physical excersion aspect of it is a definite plus.

The last time I checked the Best Buy by my place, they had about 12 in stock.

I got mine at Wal-mart. Went grocery shopping, saw one, and my bill came to around $650 . Apparently, there's been a shortage, but I would assume that there will be plenty over the next few months. I knew it was physical activity, but today, I honestly feel like I worked out ALL day yesterday. MAybe I'm just out of shape, but I can see people losing weight, and toning up with one of these things.

While I'm sure I'll be playing it on occasion, I generally suck at video games because my hand-eye coordination sucks and I'd probably just hurt myself.

Bump.

I need a wii now or there will be waa waa waa on XMAS morn. The wife and I couldn't decide if we'd let Santa bring one to our 7 year old. We decided last night. Didn't realize this is the Cabbage Patch Kid of the new millenium. I thought supply would be plentiful because this game came out before last XMAS.

So please let me know if you know any source that has one. Would prefer to buy just the console instead of the bundle. I am ready with credit card.

TIA

Good luck! You might have to bite the bullet and get one off e-bay or amazon, and deal with the rediculous markup...

You know people are buying those so they can get exercise, I know someone who lost 100 pounds and part of it was due to the Wii she bought and used as an exercise regime.
