And he'll charge less for a ride than some pilots we know of.

Man, I'm suprised you can't get a ride in one in Milford--I know a guy that has three (late model) Fs in Stonington (and the largest Blackfin I have ever seen--must be totallycustom).

Don't really know anyone with a Ferrari well enough around here to get a ride. Their are a bunch but no one I know. Most of the people I know or work with seem to be into MB's and Porsche's.

I think the largest Blackfin they made was the 38 right? I have seen a couple of them, nice boats.

That's what I am saying--call BS (many have), but he had a (perfect) 47--I rented him a slip and tracked the contract down to get the hull # ten years after the fact to prove a point. I mean it was a Blackfin--low gunwhales, mid engines/long shafts, shallow draft, little bow flare--the whole nine yards you could spot it at a mile. I didn't know him well, and personally lost touch with him after he made some, er, insensitive comments in a boardroom a few years ago that caught international attention. That should be a good enough lead to tell you who it is A friend of mine that lives nearby keeps me up with his toy purchases, ect....

Last one I rode/drove in was totalled in CO about eight months ago. Howie had some pretty funny comments about that, as the hood had to be replaced to the tune of $6500 before the guy moved out West and he wrecked it within thirty days of being there.

Oh yeah, now that you sparked my memory I have very vaguely heard of that boat. My dads friend saw it, called it the Blackfin on steriods.

It probably was a one off.
