Angry I hate Blackberry!

I have had a Treo for a long time and love it. In my new job I have been given a Blackberry which the previous user had set the alarm for 5:00 AM on the loudest ring possible. I dont know what his problem is, but I nearly smashed this thing this morning.

I keep trying to set it to NEVER go off again, think I've got it set, only to have it go off again the next day. Hopefully this morning I completely turned it off.

I have trouble sleeping anyhow. Now I'm so Pi**ed off I couldn't sleep if my life depended on it.

Thank you for alllowing me to rant. We will now return you to our regularly scheduled programming . . .

I find hammers work exceptionally well for those situations. Although you may have a tough time explaining the "malfunction" to your new boss. I'll be in the market for a Treo/Blackberry/whatever else is similar within the next few months. I'm guessing the Blackberry isn't high on your list?

I actually like the Blackberry 8700 series. It is the last one with the scroll wheel on the side. The new ones have the trackball on the front. Much eisier to use the scroll wheel while driving.

You could always do a hard reset. I know on my Treo, you had to hold the power button while removing the battery, and again while reinserting it. The phone will not lose it's programming, but it will basically format the memory, erasing all settings and such. Might be worth it if it doesn't contain job related programs and stuff.

Do a hard reset, if you don't want to do that select the little alarm icon highlight the alarm turn it off hit back and SAVe.

Maybe he had it in the calaneder as a recurring appointment.

I have a great launch pad for technical items that don't cooperate...if that doesn't work a shot of Macallans will do the trick just turn the clock to 5:00 p.m.

Yeah, I have the scroll wheel. It's probably a fine product, but I'm used to my Treo and too old a dog to readily learn new tricks.

Just call me Dee8go del Fuego, male prostitute. Remember the SNL skit with Dan Akroyd? I forget the character's name, something like Ned Garvin . . .

At least it has EDGE technology. I think that's the higher speed internet connection. I'll have to try accessing the forum from the Crackberry.
