My co worker went to Cuba via Mexico a couple of years ago. With his wife. They enjoyed the trip. Intellectually I would be interested to visit as I would have liked to visit Russia back when it was communist. But, having been in Morrocco (which is a fairly benevolant dictatorship) I think I am reluctant to visit any country where you might just end up in jail with no rights to representation. (come to think of it that can happen here too!).
I think there is probably some very interesting Architecture there along with the old American cars. I think I will wait til it is a democracy to visit there.....if I manage to outlive the rascal Castro. Tom W
