The Sheriff's have those where I live. Very initmidating to see behind you. Those Chargers are pretty tough looking already, but when you add the light bar they look even scarier in the rearview.

My bet is that they messed with the brakes.

Set it up with no rear, allowing them to lock the fronts. You'd have to have snapped it hard (ie dump the clutch),real hard, to keep it that still.

I had a 440 that could, but that was 600+hp, fiberglass tires, 4.11 gears, and no traction control. Remeber once went over to my cousins, stopped at the stop sign a house or two away, 4k+ dump the clutch, spent about a minute feathering the throttle through the intersection. Neighbors wern't happy, but the one thought it was great.

Had a friend in HS messed with his brakes, one time oopsed and when he released the fronts overrevved his 440. Back then 6k wasn't redline, it was point of explosion, and well it did.

Yeah, you have to do a no ESP mod to be able to do that on a stock Charger.
You just cut the purple wire with a light blue stripe and put a swi.... errr what?

Anyway, it is really fun to do burnouts in a hemi Charger. And power oversteering through corners is great. The pull is so fun, sooo so fun...

Can you put Chargers into dyno mode like you can the new MB's? Dyno mode is really, really nice. MB's lawyers won't let them just put an off button on the dash.

"Kids these days"

That's not really that far from the truth. With the current generation of young drivers growing up with FWD and traction control they just don't know what "smoking the tires" really is.

I'd be surprised if the Charger didn't have a TC on/off button. Power braking isn't tough to do if it does.

It has an "ESP Off" button but only turns it to like 50%. Even with it off, you can't do a burnout. You need to actually turn the module off by cutting its power to do one like they show here.

Ahh ESP is different than ASR. On my friends E300D you just hit ASR off, than hit the brakes and floor it, the rear lights up.

Thats what dyno mode is for, turn everything including the ABS off, all traction aids. You need to go into the cars menu and hit a few buttons in a certain order.

Bummer!

I would assume the Magnum is the same? I'm seriously considering a Hemi Magnum because of it's extra carrying capacity. While I'm not a big fan of its "face" it's not a bad looking wagon. Fun and function!
