You can make an effect dirty bomb out of part from smoke detectors and a small explosive why have they not tried that?

Answer: Because the return punishment is too severe, if any group unleashes a WMD the international community will have no choice but to allow an equivalent response.

I would expect that if the military didn't seize control, India would have no choice but to invade an anarchic Pakistan, reestablish a government and withdraw. Similar to how they helped Bangladesh.

I never claimed there were never any WMD.
That Hussein didn't use them against our invasion (twice) is evidence that they did not exist at that time. The Bush administration claimed more than a few times that there was excellent intelligence that Hussein had WMD, that he was close to building a nuclear device, that he was purchasing the fuel and equipment to enrich uranium. All that was lies.

Well in a perfect world, but I don't care if countries have them. China or France isn't going to start lobbing ICBM's tomarrow.

However the terrorists, for all we know one is on a container ship heading for NY or VA as I type this.

How am I being paranoid? Likely no, but I think thats the most probable way to get a nuke into this country.
