Your scariest film images
For a Halloween project.
I'm looking for movie scene suggestions for a large image to project on the front porch. I'm using a large white sheet for a screen with a video projection from the rear. I wanted a close up of an eye looking back and forth but I haven't been able to come up with anything yet. Maybe the scene in the Shining where Nicholson sticks his face thru the axed hole in the door. It needs to be a bright, close up shot. I did this a few yrs ago and some kids refused to come to the door. We watched them stare and walk on past. :D Ideas? |
Well, I always liked Hitchcok's scarey films like The Birds and Psycho, but they probably wouldn't work for your purposes. How about something from Nosferato (sp?)

I tend to avoid scary films.

They seem to be most popular with teenagers. My interest in them has declined the older I have become.

The scene from "The Devil's Rejects" when the guy is wearing a human skin mask and forcing a kiss on the skin donor's wife. Or any image of "Leatherface" with his saw.
|
Chainsaws are always good for a fright, aren't they? Also, dolls and puppets that jump out at you and try to stab you are scarey and full of irony.

That little girl from the Exorcist. That movies still freakes me out to this day. I hate horror movies with little kids in them and that haunting piano theme music...da..na..na..na.....da..na..na..naa.
I would post a pic of her here, but that would...freak me out. |
The vampire in the original salems lot scared the crap out of me when I first saw that (I was about 6).
