transformers movie question

I finally saw the movie.

When Optimus Prime views the map, he says they are 230 miles (or something like that) from the all spark, and the team heads in the direction of Hoover Dam. However, the flashback suggests the glasses were zapped in the north pole ice cave? Are the glasses a static map or a homing device?

Yeh,, that bugged me too,,,,, also,,, what the hell happened to Barricade? They showed Starscream flying off at the end of the credits,, so do we assume that Barricade (sans Frenzy) is still hanging around on earth?

It wouldn't break my heart if Bumblebee accidentally sat on Shia Lebeouf (killing him instantly) at the beginning of the sequal,,, I'm so sick of seeing that guy.
I wasn't the one who misplaced the entire Deltivid asteroid belt.

I am a bit too old to have seen the original cartoons. Until recently, I thought Optimus Prime was the bad guy.
