94 gmc suburban oil leak

i just bought a 94 gmc suburban with a rebuilt 354 ...i just notice an oil leak (but only when the truck is turned off) what could be the cause it looks like its coming from the plug but after looking further it looks like it is coming from somewhere further up can you help

what plug are you refering too???if it's anything like my 92 pickup i'd say rear main seal.mine only leaks when it's shut off,i can let it set on the driveway and idle for days and not one drop.but shut it off and it will leave a tennis ball sized puddle.
