Airsoft guns

I was playing with a friends Airsoft pistol and gel target today and think its something I would like to get into for a basement winter pastime to sharpen my shot and teach my family how to shoot. My question is what guns are the best? I want the highest quality close to realistic I can get money is no object.

The Japanese ones are the best, my friend bought a G36, and it uses real H&K sight rails and cosmetic parts. His friend who is in the navy has shot the real thing; he said it was identical to the real one, just lighter.

I think its a Marui.

This ones right up your ally!

Mauri and ICS are the top of the market.

Classic army is a step above.

Thanks! I will definitely get the MP5 since I can shoot those instinctively now to narrow the pistols.

have you ever thought about a German Air pellet pistol? SUPER accurate high quality gun that holds a good value if you want to upgrade. 10 meters (33 feet) is the offical target distance and you can easily break the same hole over and over. I will provide you a link and am happy to offer any advice if you look decide to look into it.

http://www.pilkguns.com/aphp/aphphome.htm As far as buying one Search "BEEMAN Air guns " he has a good selection. Feinwerkbau air pistols are probably the best . If your looking into rifles the same info applies. http://www.beeman.com/product.htm Quote :"One of the most challenging sports in the Olympic Games is the 10 meter running target. Shot with airguns, this sport demands shooting a bull's eye that is moving across a 6-1/2 foot opening in only 2.5 seconds! And to top it off, the bull's eye is only 0.2 inches in diameter! Oh, by the way, all shooting is done from the offhand position and the rifle must remain off the shoulder until you see the target."

I have a Beeman that is fun I may consider a Walther replica but right now I'm into those Airsofts, I like the variety and will do some AS paintball matches.

Surfing for football on Saturday afternoon, I saw a "paintball competition" on ESPN 4 or VS, ect.....and it was one of the gayest things I have ever seen in my life. Seemed like the same crowd that played Dungeon and Dragons when I was a kid, but they were adults.

Yeah, if they're Chinese, getting hit by one would most likely be deadly even though they are plastic!

I have seen the damage done by those paintballs and it is not, I repeat not for the soft skinned.....The hematomas those things can cause...
