Had I know that porting and polishing were that easy, I would have done that to all my cars ages ago.
Do you suppose it's too late to port and polish my transmission?

He should finish it off with a clearance job by dumping a handful of carbide shavings in the crankcase. The story would have been more believable if he said 1 pound of sand. 25 is just absurd.

4 Step Process to Repair that engine:

1) remove engine from car OR put entire car into step 2

2) Throw engine/car into this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JUBBEhrvfc
Note: might not want to bring any gear head friends as they might want to throw you into step two as well as the vehicle..

3) Walk Away.

4) Never Ever Ever Do That Again to ANY car. Ever.
