I bought WIS and EPC for my 99 C280 and it is still used for the 99 E300 and whatever car I chose to diagnose.

the ML320 I used to own started to fall apart at 30k, by 40k the lease was up and it went back, that thing sucked! I have to echo what others have been saying "Ill stick with my vintage benz, thank you"

Still have yet to have problems with any of the 90s-00s cars.

Both went in for their routine oil changes and services. Both came out with a clean bill of health.

265/60-18. Good tires are about 170ish a tire + mounting and balancing.

Unless you drive a real econobox, tires are going to be somewhat expensive.

I remember an old E300 van that I drove a few decades ago. I priced the tires for it then, and they were $100 each for the cheapest bias-ply tires available. Radials were well over double that. Now, as opposed to the G, these were "real" small truck tires.

The G doesn't go that fast.

These tires are pretty much large passenger car tires.

Right. A large passenger car is not an econobox. Bigger tires cost more. How much more do these weigh, compared to a nice 14" from the cheapest GM product?

You know - i can relate to the bad feelings you must of had during those problems. I am pretty upset that my 7 channel amp on my 300SEL's stereo has decided to die on me the other day - but again i can relate to the good feeling that i am about to get behind the wheel of my car to goto the corner store and get some milk...

... in my MB...

I work at a tyre shop in Northern British Columbia... feel free to pick my brain

Cheers,
Trev
