Search engine usage.
 

Does it bother you when people state what they think is fact without bothering to search? Personally I check myself constantly to make sure the data in my head is up to date but I wonder about other that have inaccurate premonitions about things that could easily be Googled....usually the first hit.

That's definitely one of my pet peeves. It's so easy to check facts and insert hyperlinks to support your point.

I made Google the home page on my daughter's PC for that very reason (MercedesShop is my home page LOL) !

Kids at school are experts at dispensing bull...I should send her to school in boots as a precaution! But I tell her to look it up first before arbitrarily accepting statements as fact.

Actually, I tell her if a kid said it, it's probably bull...but I believe she's figured that one out already...

Let me check ... yes, it irritates me.
