Hard to figure
 

Our family, which has 70 or so members, with my brother and sisters and all our decendents, belong to a site called Myfamily.com. Everyone has access and it started out being very well received. Over the 3 or 4 years we have had the site, a number of things have happened. Words and phrases have been taken the wrong way, which has caused some issues, and participation has slowly declined to the point of only 5 or 6 members even bother to look at the site every day, and only 2 of us post regularly. The younger crowd does not seem to have any interest in taking the site over, so with this years renewal, it all may just go away. It will be a shame,because a LOT of information has been shared that I am sure would never have been otherwise, along with a ton of pictures and stories. I am known to be an extrovert and truly enjoy the goings on of the family, but honestly,,, in todays world,,, I feel more at home on this site, than I do with my own family. A shame.

Families are difficult...........we're not.;)

And people wonder why I like to have things oral. I hate having something written down only to have it misused against me later on.

Well, this forum seems pretty unique to me. The few others I've participated in couldn't hold a candle to mercedesshop.

I couldn't stand doing that. I do business with my family I don't want to talk to them after working hours.:D

I don't like that tho. Problem is that if I sell you a car, as soon as your check clears, it's your's. Oh, what's that you say? the car broke down before you got to the next block. Gee, I'm sorry. Sucks to be you. However, if it is your so and so, you might find it harder to extract yourself from that situation. Also, chances are family might try use their relationship to talk you down. Hence, I will GIVE something to my family but I really don't want to sell them something that is a big ticket item.
