Why a 60 second wait between posting pm?

It is a real pain. The bimmerforum has a 15 second wait. That is too long sometimes.

so spammers dont bother everyone. But 10 seconds would be nice. 60 seconds is the default for people that peck at the keys.

At first, I thought you meant "Why 60 seconds wait in the post office" ... So, I thought, hmm, it looks more like 60 minutes ...

I wish there was no waiting period between searches. It's 20 seconds I think.

I want to search at lightning speed. Sometimes ludicrous speed.

I'll change it to 30 sec. The wait is to prevent spammers from flooding everyone with PM's.

There is no waiting period for the Google Custom search we have. Why not use that?

The reason for the delay is to prevent overloading the server with searches. Search is resource intensive.

I am referring to my responses to pm, not searches.
