WARNING

All of the old cellular service in the US will cease to operate on Feb 18, 2008.

If you have an older analog cellphone, it's time to shop for a new one. If your phone is less than 5 years old you should be ok.

NOTE - This blackout will also impact 2003 model year cars and older with OnStar from General Motors, TeleAid from Mercedes-Benz or Lexus Link. Most won't be upgradable.

If your home or business security system has a backup cellphone connection you need to make sure it's digital and not analog.
