Anyone Have an ST Generator Head?
These are the "old school" generator heads coming out of China that you can find on EBay. Lots of iron and made to be easily repaired instead of thrown away. Heavy duty enough to run on a continuous basis for a long time rather than the intermittant duty most generators are able to run.
They interest me because I have a small tractor with PTO to drive one by either a gearbox or pully system. The tractor runs diesel and is a very efficient Japanese Yanmar design. Plus I have some storage available for diesel fuel - safer than storing gasolene by far. Anyone have one or know of other's experience with them? Ken300D

There a Yahoo group that is all over ST heads attached to those Indian manufactured Lister clones...ie Listeroids.
They've forgotten more than most of us will ever know about these things... Here's a link or two: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Lister_CSOG/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wastewatts/
