Congrats Packers!!!

Go Green Bay.... Lovely weather for a game.. Real football weather.
Here's hoping Brett comes back for another year.

He's having a helluva year for a redneck from Mississippi! He has a house right around the corner from mine in Diamondhead and his mother lives about six miles north. He also has a huge spread in H'burg, MS where he went to college. I hop NY wins tomorrow so Green Bay will be at home!

The first few minutes of the game were....just....OMG!!! "They're already shoveling and they haven't had the ball for more than 3 downs!!!"

14-to-freaking-0!!!!

Then, I thought..."Heck, there's some time here...let's see what they have in the tank..."

Didn't hear Ryan's name for a few plays...they mentioned he was in the backfield, but McCarthy gave him a few minutes on the grass before he wanted Rye to touch that ball again...then, when he finally did...

201 yards and 3 TDs later!

Boy, did he ever dig like hell to save that piece of @55 that was attached to his waist...Ever see someone go from "goat" to "STUD" in a better way?

And from the first whistle to the last, I was surprised at how fast that field went from green to white...almost reminded me of the Chicago Bears game a few years back when the fog rolled in and th TV cameras were about as useful as ti*s on a bull...Thank God the Green Bay area has curling clubs around there...those folks sure do know how to use a broom when it's called for!

As of Tuesday this past week, our station has the Superbowl sold out...the last spot went for $8K/30 seconds/full market...but, I'm sure if GB gets in, that may get bumped...

On a side note, this day was also the same day as the wife's B-day...got back from Eau Claire in enough time to take her to her choice of restaurants...HOOTERS...she had more fun talking to the...eh...er...uhhh...waitress than I had looking at the....menu, yah, the menu...

Anyways...we need the Packers to keep going next weekend...regardless if it's the 'Boys or the 'Nants...I'd prefer to see NY get it, just so Lambeau Field gets one more workout before they stretch the tarp for the winter over the grass, but GB will have to take what's dished out to 'em...

As everyone is saying, in unison, up here...

I'm a huge Brett Favre fan.

Living in Miami, I often get into some lively discussions on who's better, Marino or Favre.

He had a SB win and now all the records, and they can't really argue with that.
