They arrested him! Kill joys!

Taking a lawnmore to the package store in the middle of a snow storm can be a perfectly logical thing to do.

I have a self-propelled walk-behind mower. I guess if I got drunk, I guess I could hang onto the handle for support at least.

I don't know how they expect to collect the fine if they confiscated his means of earning a living. Stupid cops.

There was a movie, I forget the name of it, but in it the main character drove a lawn tractor across the country, pulling a trailer behind it. He was sober, though . . .

The movie was "The Straight Story" and the lawn tractor was a John Deere.

I think the guy who starred in that was also the star of The Gray Fox or something like that about the last train robber. Does that sound familiar?

Hello All

We had a guy like that in the small town I used to live in in Indiana.

They busted him for DUI and took away his drivers license.
So he started driving his tractor.
They made him stop driving his tractor around everywhere.
So he started riding his horse.
And as you can imagine, one night someone saw his horse standing next to the road.
They found him in a ditch,
passed out, and bruised badly from falling off the horse.

One of the funnier things that happened in that town.
But not quite as funny as the mopeds.

You used to not have to have a license to drive a moped where I lived.
So all the alcoholics that lost there license would ride them around.
It was funny as **** seeing a middle aged guy on a beat up moped,
carrying his brown bag back from the liquor store.

I even got to see a drunk in front of me on a bicycle swerving back
and fourth in the road, finally run off into a ditch.
He fell in the grass, and just laid there.
Poor guy.

Gees, there were a lot of drunks in that town.
Including me, at the time.

Thanks
Have Fun !
RichC

maybe that guy in michigan should have had a blade or snowblower mounted to it and the cops wouldn't have thought twice about him being out in a snowstorm!!
