I was looking into some get rich ideas online, there are a lot that say that Oprah approved of a $6.00 method. It's something like you give $1.00 to each person of an emailing list of 6, and then you join. You delete the 1st person from the list and put yourself at the bottem copy the information and put it on atleast 200 other board groups. It sounds fake, so I tried, but when I was trying to transfer funds through Paypal, most of those people are banned, and are not allowed to recieve money. So obviously something is wrong here. Does anyone know anything like this? Is there any online money making method that actually works? Any info would help, thanks!

Its a very old scheme, called a pyramid scam.

www.quatloos.com has quite a lot of useful information on online and offline scams, but their main focus seems to be tax protesters.

Avoid www.scam.com except for comic relief. It's been pretty much taken over by the scammers.
