Super Bowl Sunday Eats/Drinks

With the Super Bowl Holiday upon us, anyone out there have a favorite food/beverage they like to consume while watching the game?

Where's Swamp at.....the thread is just screaming for his "patriotic" input.

Gotta have wings - there is no discussion about this, IMHO.

WOO HOO It will be fun rooting for the Giants in ROMOland...

I'm a Steelers fan stuck having to deal with all of the hero-worship of the Pats up here in New England. This year, it's a devil's deal, root for ex-Steeler crybaby Plaxico Burress and Eli or be forced to hear all about the best team in the history of all sports for years to come, including non-stop Tom Brady hero-worship. It's a lose-lose proposition.

I like to make foods based on whichever team I support - authentic cheesesteaks with whiz when the Eagles made it, Primanti-brothers sandwiches and pierogies for the Steelers, NC-style BBQ when the Panthers were in, and so forth. Interestingly, I usually don't have any stake *though I sometimes have a steak* in the game unless the Steelers are there. This year, I just can't decide on two bad options with two good food choices... NYC-style thin/floppy pizza OR Clam Chowder and/or Lobster rolls. I was really hoping for some Green Bay sausage/cheese sandwiches...

NY strip steak!
Boston baked beans
Since manning is from NO -- crawdads or Andullie sausages
Sice Brady is from Frisco -- Calamari

See what I mean...

We're having a small party to watch the TV and we've got our menu all planned out. Everything is home made because my wife is an absolute star in the kitchen.

-mini beef burritos
-chicken wings (deep fried, with home made hot sauce)
-2 alarm chili (we have a few delicate friends coming over, so we can't go -with the 5 alarm variety)
-pizza
-bacon/potato/cheddar/onion tart: This thing is awesome! Layers of thinly-sliced potatoes with onions and sharp cheddar in between each layer. The whole thing is wrapped in bacon strips and then done in the oven in a cast iron skillet for about 3 hours. Served room temperature.
-Hersheys double chocolate layer cake (two birthdays this weekend)

I think there's gonna be veggies and dip, too. But that ain't football food.

If my Packers were playing we'd have a cheese plate, too.

It'll be another day of "tailgaing" for us. We'll have all of the gear set up in the driveway, tent, portable fire pit, grille, turkey fryer, propane heater if warranted, folding picnic table and chairs. Just to give a little of that at-the-game feel. We'll have the Patriots pregame on Sirius so that we don't have to watch the b.s. on tv.

We'll have a pot of chowder, because we always have a pot of chowder, marinated steak tips, buffalo wings, chips, dips, salsa, some Sam Adams Light, some Smirnoff Pomegranate thingies for the ladies and a Macanudo or two. Nothing too crazy, just typical tailgate fare.

Scrap the veggie platter and you've got the perfect spread!

I don't think I've done brats this season, I may have to add those to the menu!

Gee, I'm not a huge football fan, but I'll act like it for whatever team you favor if I can come to one of your places for eats.
I just had dinner, but I'm now starving after reading the replies.
