fender mats?

who here uses those special mats you put on your fenders so you don't mess the paint up? I need to get a set since I think I already ruined some of the paint(the car isn't perfect but the clear is pealing from where my hands are usually at). I am always looking for a set of matco mats at yard sales but I find any.

We had a discussion about Mercedesshop logo'ed fendermats a few years ago.
Nobody wanted to spring the coin for it.
Maybe now?

Here is the thread, from almost exactly three years ago.
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=101187&highlight=fender+covers

Scanning throught the posts, it looks like 100 pieces was the minimum order, and the cost was going to be 13 plus shipping and handling. No doubt, those figures are going to be more, three years later.

I'll start looking into it.. I just need blanks.. with the soft backing.. and possibly bring them to a local embroidery shop. seeing as we don't pour oil all over them maybe we can get something done..

I'm looking into it

Might want to see if you have any screen printers in the area. Smaller shops, have less specialized equipment, and might be more willing and able to do a screenprint. Biggest cost would be the screen set up.
