Yea that guy is nuts. I saw a documentary on him and another bat suit pioneer last year. Evidently they jumped out of a plane together and tried to fly somewhat horizontally under a bridge before deploying shutes. When he passed under the bridge, Corliss said he heard a loud noise and then saw a leg flying past him. The other guy impacted the bridge at terminal velocity. In this case it was terminal.

He just needs to figure out how to come in at about 30 mph and he can run really fast then tuck and roll.
