Wireless boosters, repeaters

A bit off topic but I am needing to entend the range of my dsl reception to another building about 800 feet away from my house. I'm thinking booster or repeater but everything I find on the net is a bit vague. Any of you guys run into this and what sort of equipment did you have to obtain? Appreciate any advice you can give.

DSL? Why not just run a line over there?

I wasn't very clear in my original post. I have a Westell wireless router which feeds the computers in the house. But--- There are times when I need to take my latop to the building which is about 800 feet away. As digging up my driveway to bury aother dsl line is not an option, I am looking to extend the range by use of a booster or relay. I really don't want to call Verizon on this because I would probably end up talking to someone in India that I could not understand. Any ideas out there? Thanks

Over open space a directional Wi-Fi setup should work fine....

perhaps you have a benevolent neighbor who would let you glean off of them?

Well, after an 2 hour search on the net, I think I may have solved my problem. Thanks to all who offered advice

Do you have a phone line in the other building now?
