Therein lies the problem. If I have 10 black people and 90 white, how would any of the 10 know that they got the job honestly and not because I needed to hire someone black? How would the 90 know that these 10 were not awarded the job because of their race? How would the 90 KNOW that these 10 were equals?

That's due to an entrenched white power structure unwilling to give ground.

So where were the "downtrodden Japanese Products" law to help them? They had the stigma of WWII and a lot of hatred. Within 2 generations, they are threatening the Big 3. Why? Not because of the law. They can now compete on equal terms and win.

Seen many white people on sports teams? What you want is an instant fix. Sorry, it is going to take a while. The Japs suffered thru it and because they could make themselves better, they come out on top.

I don't either.

Why should it? The Chinese had to either get better or stay downtrodden. Ghetto folk don't have such motivations. Law of Inertia.

But it is PC. That is why it is done.

If the "underprivileged" kids from the ghetto want an equal chance, they've got it. They've had it for forty years. But they need to get their tails in gear! Handing them something just because "whites got everything in the past and it's time to even things up," is as discriminatory as colored-only drinking fountains were.

Yep, as my good old Grandfather used to say, a poor person will always be poor because of the way they think. Its breed into them, and sadly only a few smart ones see it, get it, and get out.

Back when my Grandfather grew up Milford was much smaller, and around the beach were rough areas. Mostly white trash for lack of a better term. Because of the way the school district's were divided he got put in school with there kids up to highschool and hated it, they constantly made fun of him. His dad was a judge, and owned a lot of oil interests, and beleived in working hard, so it was like oil and water. But when HS came around Milford only had one at the time, so as my grandmother said he was happy to find normal people in the world.

You know what that was in the 1930's, and its amazing that those same people...well if you follow the family name...they are still drunks...and losers...they all knock there girlfriends up in there teens, work dead end jobs, drink like fish, smoke, some do drugs...it never changes from generation to generation. And now the Mexican's are taking their jobs, because they are willing to work harder.

Come to New Haven, let me show you Orchard street, and I know a great neighboorhood just north of the Post Road. I recomend you lock your doors and don't stop for anyone. Yeah and those black and Mexican dudes walking around and standing on the corner, those are not upstanding citizens, most of them have pretty amazing rap sheets. The local cops usualy won't even pull them over because they know there is no insurance, no title, and the plates belong to some car in OH.

A lot of the Mexican guys are in gangs, MS13 I think is the big one. The black dudes just deal dope and steal cars and crap.

Black & Mexiccan=muggers. Good to know.
