It looks interesting, like a B level anime. I have already seen the first season, which they end with a wicked cliff hanger. Everything is up in the air.

Its a unique show, kind of similer to Eureka 7, and Fullmetal Panic in some ways, yet with a very different plot.

Great, another show to take up my time with...

ANN gives it like 9/10 and it's only 24 eps. so it should move along pretty quickly. I'm only up to 53 or someting on Bleach. I don't read the mangas or download anything. The green headed girl has that "Chii" look to her...

Were the only ones that admit to watching it!

I have gotten 2-3 PM's from people asking me where to get the latest Bleach.

I download and watch the sub's while I'm eating dinner, or bored. Bleach I like so I am up to date on both the show and magna. Its getting VERY interesting, this Soul Society arc is just the opening act, you ain't seen nothing yet.

CG is good I have already seen the subs, and am looking forward to season two which is airing in Japan on April 6, hopefully on Youtube the following day.

However I'm not a big fan of the way the characters are drawn, this is a very styleised(ap?) anime. The plot makes up for it, I love politcal intrigue and this show is full of it.

I've watched some of the Adult Swim shows because a good friend produces Birdman.
Id rather watch "How It's Made".

Manga is a very serialised Japanese "comic". Some are for kids, most are not, the ones I follow certianly are not. I think what hurts these shows is that they are very serialised so you need to watch every ep, or read every chapter if you don't want to get lost. Also they can go on for years. IY manga is up to almost chapter 550 and has been in publication since 1997. Some are longer than others Shonen's tend to be crazy long and can have a very winded plot with tons of fillers.

As you can see here: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=6704 The show in question is rated 9-10/10 and it has 25 episodes (oops). Many of the 50+ episode shows tend to get boring after a while.

Manga books are like $10 a pop for about 5 chapters of a 50+ episode series so it can get expensive. also, fan subbed episodes can be downloaded at various sites for those who can't wait for them to come on TV but this isn't great for the industry...

Chii is a character from another show "Chobits". It's a very popular show with a gentle, mild subject matter and most everyone who watches Anime has some familiarity with it.
