1980 300SD on eBay

This is the perfect w116 to me. I need to stop looking at stuff like this until I have our "other" car sold. I hope I can find another one as nice as this when I'm ready.

Isn't that always the way? Nice looking car! I really like the styling of the w116 but they sure do call out for euro bumpers, don't they.

Before I bought my Jeep I was looking for a diesel Scout in decent shape. I couldn't find any that weren't projects. 6 months after I bought it I came across a beautiful one (well, as beautiful as a Scout II gets ) for sale at a cruise night for $5500, of course the funds weren't remotely available at that point. It never fails.

That thing is purty. Lotsa pics too.

I know what you mean though, I don't know why I torture myself with Ebay/crazedlist, etc.....when the funds aren't in place to purchase anyway.

Is the acura currently up for sale?

Nice! That looks like a good example!

It needs euro bumpers though, those DOT bumpers suck!

Not officially. My wife looked at this listing last night and said, "When will we be able to sell the Acura?". The guy that bought my MC asked if I wanted to sell it, so I might have a lead already.

I can't find a link to confirm it, but I've read they were just under $30,000 new.
